Celebrating a Triumph from December

This live nativity scene touched hearts in ways the static ones can’t. Complete with a white- gowned children’s chorus and live animals one could pet afterwards, the words of the full Bible story from the immaculate conception, including the journey to escape Herod, to the birth of Jesus  was outstanding. The presence of God was palpable as these world changing events of God were proclaimed on the field of a lavender farm. There’s nothing like well-proclaimed words from the Bible, coupled with strong visual settings to ring truth to the audience. What a privilege to see and hear. This took place in Virginia, but, next year, search in your area for something as powerful. Or use this year to plan one of your own. There can’t be too many proclamations of the work of God in our world full of distress and bad news. Let’s ask God for effective ways to substitute God’s good news for the World’s troubles wherever we can. With a foundation of prayer and the cooperation of God’s people we can be the conveyors of God’s love all this year. If we humble ourselves and ask for His guidance, he can use us, you and I, to proclaim the reality of Jesus Christ. He don’t need to understand how it all works, if we are faithful to listen and respond, He has ways for each of us to reach others with the love, the reality, and the power of Jesus Christ in our world today.  Ask Him to show us our role.
