Nature’s Lace
Among the many beautiful sights spring brings, we enjoy the gorgeous appearance of early light green tree leaves. Delicate as they emerge, they have a lacey look from afar. The trees look as if they have dressed in their best lace for a special premiere. Later the light green will turn a darker green against the brown branches. But at first the trees have a delicate beauty as if wearing a gown of lace.
The lovely sight of newly developing leaves is a springtime gift from God. They also remind us of the new life available to everyone because of the gift of Jesus. Spring and Easter combine to remind us of the newness Jesus offers our lives. Regardless of what has stained our lives, what has hardened our hearts, or what grieves our soul, the blood of Jesus was shed to cover our transgressions and provides us with glorious renewed life today and life everlasting. .
