Aquarium Fun
What fun! The little ones stood back at the first sight of fish larger than themselves swimming behind the enormous glass wall which separated us from the fish swimming beyond it. When they saw their bigger cousins run right up to the glass wall, they did too. When a fish swam close, they flattened their little hands against the glass as if to pet these amazing creatures. Only the glass pane held them apart. What a privilege to watch little eyes seeing a new sight. What fun to see a young child discovering some new aspect of the wonderful world where they live. An aquarium offers a treat to whoever gets to take small children to observe a sample of what our oceans, lakes, or rivers contain. Our little ones pressed their noses against the glass as if to look at the fish eye to eye.
We adults also benefit from Aquariums or other types of parks or museums. Any encounter with nature can foster the same refreshing of our appreciation of the wonderful gift this world is to us. When we enjoy any experience that heightens our enthusiasm for our marvelous world, we are drawn closer to the creator of our amazing earth. In addition, we have the privilege of talking to our creative God and tell Him of our pleasure in the world around us. Thank Him for the sights He provides for us. Just as nature heightens our sense of His reality in our life. It encourages us to talk to Him about our circumstances. Go ahead and speak with Him often. You will reap joy and comfort from the privilege.
