Dedicated Health Providers

In some rooms of modern hospitals, the walls are awash with complicated gadgets, switches, plugs, tubes, and all sorts of equipment that allows the staff to quickly access whatever help a patient might need in an emergency.  These walls can be literal life savers when used by knowledgeable, trained people. We can thank God we have people who are willing to take the time and go to the expense to learn how to develop and use such systems. The modern hospital has played a big part in extending the length of our lives when confronted with health problems that some years ago would have had no solutions. Even if we are not in the least technically knowledgeable or scientifically inclined, we can determine to convey appreciation to the people who take time to learn the available knowledge and become prepared to help others. If we exhibit a thankful attitude and express our gratitude to them, we can go a long way to rewarding them for the time and resources they used to become proficient in their calling. Let’s ask God to keep us alert to opportunities to show our health professionals how much we appreciate them. Gratitude when it is expressed has a way of returning the blessing to us.
