Demonstrations of Love

            Is there anything more wonderful than mutual love? Family love. Married love. Friendship Love. God’s love. Love is the greatest treasure on this earth, and we just experienced a great load of it. We had the joy of seeing three families from our broader family for 20 glorious hours.

As the result of our hosts’ careful preparations, our visit brought us great delight. We experienced:

Thoughtful arrangements for safety.

Extra opportunity for food and fellowship.

Generous sharing of time with others.

One-on-one attention.

Attentive listening.

 

Aren’t these human demonstrations of love which mirror God’s love?

He cares for our safety.

He enjoys fellowship with us and cares about our nourishment.

He provides us with people to enjoy.

He gives us personalized attention.

He listens to us.

No wonder wise people urge us to draw close to such a loving God, our God. His love is always on our side and satisfies our soul.
