Grass Edger

The hum of the lawn edger was accompanied by the sweet odor of freshly cut grass. While the freshly mowed lawn appeared nice, it looked even spiffier after the edger gave the curb lines a clean-cut look. With no stray roots climbing over the cement sidewalks, the yard presented a well-manicured attraction. The pleasant sight, accompanied by the fresh-cut grass aroma is pleasing for a while. However, a week or so later the work will require repeating if you want to maintain the same neat appearance.

Maintaining a vibrant relationship with God helps others detect the sweet-smelling benefits God bestows. Engaging in regular conversations with the Lord helps us maintain an uncluttered edge on our relationship with our loving God. Coming together for worship on a regular basis with other Christians also helps us maintain neat edges to our relationship with Jesus which in turn creates closer ways for us to present the blessings of our God’s love and grace to other people. We need to regularly repeat the steps we find keep us in close relationship to our Lord. We don’t want to rest on our previous relationship, we want to stay active to keep growing in our love of God.
