Heavy? Difficult?
Mary’s Monday Musings to Quilt Encouragement
Heavy? Difficult?
A large rack of antlers on the head of a moose or a deer is an awesome sight. From our point of view, they look heavy and even awkward for maneuvering in forests. But the moose or deer don’t wonder about their antlers. They just accept them and use them as God intended. Perhaps there are aspects of our lives where we can copy them and believe that eventually God will work this situation or condition in our life for good. We can ask Him to use for good whatever seems awkward or heavy in our lives and the lives of others. Birds don’t question their wings, they just fly. Bees don’t question their Queens; they make sure she is fed and serve the hive. Butterflies don’t question their cocoons; they work their way out of them. He will use whatever characteristics He has allowed into our lives.
Life contains issues of relationships, illness, politics, poverty. None of them are beyond the reach of God. Somewhere in our makeup, He has been developing skills which He will help us use for solutions to problems. Ask Him for His help. He’ll unfold the pathway for you. He will give us the insights we need to use for every heavy or difficult situation in our life. He knows how we can use the equipment He has already provided us to approach every heavy or difficult circumstance. Ask Him to help us recognize the pathway to go.
