What a blessing to have out-of-state family visit us. Family visitors rank in the top tier of immense blessings. Whenever we are privileged to spend time under the same roof with beloved family members, we feel extremely fortunate. All the years that lie behind any family relationship creates foundations of common experiences, shared values, and well-established love. This makes us so grateful for the ability of family members to hold their tongue or otherwise put up with us to maintain our loving relationship.  There is no price too high for loving relationships that span the years and physical distance between people.

If we talk to God about these important relationships, He will hear us and honor our desire for such loving relationships. Ask God to help us bridge the miles that lie between us and keep our hearts knitted tightly in love for one another.
