Little Ones’ Love
Is there anything more endearing than a small child running full tilt to hug you around the knees? What about a little one throwing young arms around your neck for a big squeeze? There’s no mistaking the love behind these gestures. Most children are open about their affection unless some situation or someone plants a caution in their impressionable minds. Let’s not be that someone. Keep your smile wide and sincere around little ones. Suppress your inner critic, and you may win the reward—the pure gold of a child’s love. The more a little one experiences love, the more the child can grow into an adult capable of spreading love and kindness wherever they go.
Be that person that sows a sense of love and loyalty into a tiny person and watch them grow to approach life with optimism. By loving a child, you can sow blessings into a future generation you might not otherwise even know. Let approval dominate your contacts with children. Let kindness exude from your words. Let correction be coated with love. Imbed values by your example and careful choice of words. Regardless of how peripheral your relationships with children are, if you maintain a loving relationship, full of outward demonstrations with the youngsters in your life, you are blessed with the opportunity to pass blessings on to another generation and broaden your range of bringing kindness into the world beyond your own life span.
