The Miracle of a Baby

            The birth of a healthy baby into a loving family ranks high on the happy scale. From the doctors and nurses to the mom and dad and family members, smiles adorn every face. Voices rise in delight. Cameras snap a record of the joyous welcome. A new baby awakens hope for the future. The tiny child, who has never encountered heartache nor disappointment, encourages us to dream and feel optimistic about the future. When we reflect on the Creator of this amazing  miracle, involving millions of cells coming together to function, we are awed by our God, which produces hope.

 

God cares about his creations. He has already planted in the innocent babe the seeds of talents and personality which await discovery as the child grows. What better time to pray for the future than at the birth of a little one. God teach Your little ones to love You and to live for You. Use the marvelous miracle of birth to reinforce our faith. Use our little babies to build a better tomorrow. We can pray that the God, who already knows the trials and joys for this little life, will hover close all the days of the child’s life. The birth of a baby provides evidence that our hope in God is built on the foundation of His love and power. We can plant our trust in the God of birth.
