What?

What is happening? What troubles you? What is the answer to ———? Fill in the blank. Everyone’s life is full of questions. We sometimes find ourselves wondering, “What on earth is going on? The word, What, often begins a search for information, or a solution. Sometimes the word communicates a surprise such as in, “What an amazing sight.” One of the most important ‘What’ questions is, “What are you going to think about Jesus?” Here at Easter time, we are reminded that Christianity rests on the assurance that Jesus is the Son of God, who took on the form of man to come to earth and demonstrate the blessings of following God. He died on the cross to bridge the gap between our errant selves and a Holy God so that we can fellowship with our all-knowing, all loving God forever. What an amazing, comforting, challenging answer to the Most Important ‘What’ in our lives. God, help us center our lives around What you have revealed in Your Holy Bible and What you want for us.
